*Eat plenty of plant-based foods including vegetables, fruits
and legumes and grain based foods(Preferably

wholegrain), such as bread, pasta, noodles and rice
*Eat moderate amounts of lean meats, skinless poultry, fish
and reduced fat dairy products
*Replace saturated fat with polyunsaturated and
monounsaturated oils and fats
*Have fish(any type of fresh or canned)at least twice a week

*Start the day with a few minutes of gentle stretches
*If you work sitting down, get up whenever you can
and walk around
*Take the stairs instead of the lift

*If you use public transport get off a stop earlier and
and walk the rest
*Walk-or-cycle instead of taking the car for short
journeys
*Try to go for a walk each day
*Each time you take a walk go a bit further or a
bit faster
